- I am currently finishing a master's degree in library media education. I also hold a K-8 teaching license in Ohio. Before being a graduate student and mother I taught first grade. I have been a book lover as long as I can remember. I have many fond memories of being read to as a child and hope I am building the same for my daughter.

The book blog will have a different topic/theme each month. Once a week or so I will highlight a book for young children related to the monthly topic. Look for excellent books and ideas about how to share them with children.
